What The Club Says
This magnificent Georgian Park created over 200 years ago, was once part of the original grounds of Henlle Hall. The beautiful landscape comprises mature hardwood trees, majestic oaks, three small lakes and several smaller pools. The stunning setting is home to one of Shropshire’s Premier Parkland Courses. The course is a challenging and undulating course with plenty of character and interesting holes. Measuring 6161 yards a Par 70 SSS 70.

Very Picturesque
Very friendly place and not over expensive. The course is better than good but there are quite a few blind holes. The greens are in very good order and quite fast but true.(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 93 Handicap: 16.8)

Worth a visit
Not my type of course as there are many blind holes, but still worth a visit. The course is well manicured (no grass cuttings on the fairways) and the greens are very true and moderately fast. Play was very slow but probably because it was very windy. Well worth the green fee plus a buggy was only £25.(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 91 Handicap: 16.9)

A Good chalenge
Lovely course despite the wet conditions, many challenging holes with large trees and water In many places. Good food and service available in all departments and the shop.(Round played: Sep 2019 - Score: 91 Handicap: 18.1)

Very nice course, undulating but not a hard walk, in good condition and very friendly, would certainly come again. Played as part of a three day trip with Llanymynech and Llangollen, and certainly didn’t disappoint.Reviewer Rating

Really enjoyable
We played Henlle for the first time in their Mixed Open on 19 August. The course was recovering well from the long dry spell. The greens were in excellent condition, smooth and fast.There isn't a bad hole on the back 9. Overall, the course is tough but fair. The choice, quality and price of food in the club house was first class too. We really enjoyed playing Henlle and we will be back.Reviewer Rating
