What the club says: Beautiful Parkland Course 6010 yards par 70. The course is situated in its own valley on the private New Woll Estate, with the Woll Burn running through it and surrounded by mature trees it is a course everyone wants to play. The Owners the Brown family have been developing the course each year and have created what is becoming the most popular course in the Scottish Borders. Not just the course but the facilities are also first class with very friendly staff and an award winning restaurant it is the perfect course for outings. The Estate also has 6 - 4 star self catering houses overlooking the course which provide guests with FREE golf during their stay. A great stay and play resort for your golf break.

New woll gold course

We spend 3 nights here every year. What an amazing golf course. It protects itself on every hole. Watch out for the ball leaking to the right with every bounce

Beautiful parkland course with stunning views. Very friendly staff and an excellent clubhouse restaurant. Have stayed at the on site accommodation for 15 years and the free golf is a great bonus. Can't recommend this place enough

Loved this course and the members.

Woll Golf course was a first time visit for myself and my brother. We would definitely go back once we are in that area again. A great course with some great holes.

Beautiful course

What a lovely course. The course had suffered some heavy rain but was in good condition that will only get better with the sunshine. The clubhouse is lovely and the food was lovely too. Highly recommended

Great course worth a visit

Home course

Enjoyed it

Played the course today got nice weather. Great condition some very interesting holes. Greens in nice condition and very fast when we played them with lots of undulations.

Very friendly welcome at the clubhouse and the food was very nice.

Lovely valley setting

I played early morning as a guest with one of the members, after a very wet week's weather: taking all that into consideration, the course was in good condition. there were only one or two places where you needed any relief for what might be called "standing water" where the ground was just a little soggy. The greens were in good order and consistent in their speed, however, the old part of the course has put in new greens (12-18) a few years ago and I found quite a difference in the texture and speed of these greens, compared to the others (1-11): that's not a complaint, just something to be aware of if you are playing the course for the first time - I three putted two of the newer greens, because of misjudging their speed - having putted reasonably well in the front nine!!
The clubhouse and facilities are first class, the welcome is very warm and friendly and the standard of catering is very high, I would highly recommend this course for an outing, especially.

Absolutely stunning course in the borders, tee boxes in great shape even though there was a party of 33 out before me and my golf buddy, greens in amazing condition. Fast all the way round the course, the 16th is a phenomenal view, worth a visit just for that. Clubhouse immaculate and although we never had a meal the bacon roll was excellent. Will be back
