A fantastic golf course with superb holes andviews! A golf test on every shot. If this course was located anywhere else it would be highly rated. Just a great golf day out no matter your score!

Interesting course in reasonable condition. Front nine a bit of a roller coaster and would perhaps benefit from some hole plans on tees as shop didnt have any course planners. Back nine more open till the last couple and a bit of a slog. Very up and down, get a buggy if you are short of breath!

Passed this course many times and heard so much about it. Firstly the course is fantastic with some really strong holes. Great condition and highly enjoyable. However, the welcome in the pro shop was none existant, along with any breakfast after travelling 2 hours to get there as the cook "hadn't turned in". To make matters worse nothing was sorted for coming back in so " food was off". Let the day down badly as the course was so good. Shame really.

Played the course on the 22nd of October,thankfully the weather was kind, couldn't fault the course, yes a few blind holes but that just adds to the course. Unfortunately that was when it all went wrong, having travelled from Newcastle for a 10am tee time we were expecting some breakfast, well at least a bacon roll, nope kitchen wasn't open till 10.Ok fine, you can imagine the frustration after the round when apparently the chef had baby sitting issues and there again was no food available, simply not good enough, what kind of business is that

Played for first time with an early start the haar was in. Great course layout, hilly, with the challenges that this brings. Thoroughly enjoyed this course.

Good course with a few challenging holes. Round was a bit slow with a four ball in front so it took over 4 hours, but a very enjoyable Sunday afternoon.

Good course spoiled by too many blind holes on the front 9, having to wait on almost every hole to tee off thankfully got a living Social deal which was good value.

Booked to play using Bunkered vouchers so I can't comment on the cost of an ordinary round. The welcome we received from the pro shop was quite disappointing. It felt like we were intruding as non paying customers. Decent enough warm up range however it was stocked with balls that looked as though they had been found out on the course and were in poor condition. The course itself provides a good challenge particularly if you've never played it before with a number of blind shots. Accuracy from the tee is important. The course offer some wonderful views and I would like to play it again.

This course is in excellent condition but is a big challenge if you have never played it before due to the high number of holes that are blind and the marker not being a very good precise guide.
Stroke savers would be a suggestion on payment of your game at the desk.
Overall a good day but not good for the moral of the group with high handicappers

This course isn't too bad - very quirky layout and generally in good condition. The Professional was unfortunately extremely rude, and generally treated us very poorly.

Course sits on a hill in a beautiful, but windy, setting. Lovely views out to sea and over to bass rock. A challenging course for a novice like me. Lots of blind tee shots. Found the 10th really difficult but exhilarating. A long blind drive and i lost 2 balls trying to hit the fairway. An enjoyable day of golf though and made to feel welcome by the staff.
