What The Club Says
The Club was established in 1929 and was originally a 9 hole course. In 2005 the course was extended to 18 holes. The course is a challenging test of golf with the new front nine holes being open scenic with superb greens. The back nine holes - the original course - are much tighter holes with tree lined fairways and with equally superb greens. Buggies (3) now available for hire. Contact Club to reserve

Nice course worth playing
Not having played Westhoughton GC for a good few years was looking forward to playing it again in one of their open comps. Friendly welcome in the clubhouse. No pro shop on site. Small practice area outside clubhouse. Course in great condition, nice fairways, greens rolled well. Some tricky holes especially on the back nine, not always a driver off the tee as quite tight in places. Found the greens generally quite small so accuracy is the key. Easy walk around as mainly on the flat. Worth playing for sure.Reviewer Rating

Overall, really good condition
