What the club says: Hindley Hall Golf Club is located one mile from Hindley in Lancashire, it is a mature parkland course in a peaceful and tranquil setting. The club was founded in 1905 and the par 69 course is highly regarded in the North West, stretching to 5926 yards and providing a fair but challenging test of golf for players of any handicap.

Nice course worth playing
First time playing Hindley Hall GC in one of their Open events. Good value including bacon roll and coffee. Friendly welcome in clubhouse and small pro shop. Practice net and putting green outside clubhouse. Course in decent condition, green rolled well if a little inconsistent. Fairly flat course so easy to walk round. Some similar holes, but one or two trickier holes to catch you out, quite tight in places being mostly treelined. Probably be back sometime if only to improve the score. Worth playing.Reviewer Rating

Welcoming
Had a nice experience at Hindley Hall despite poor golf on my behalf. Members very welcoming. Course challenging in parts, greenkeepers working hard to catch up from wet weather. Greens variable at moment but I believe very quick in summerReviewer Rating

Great course
Played the course recently and the course was really dry for this time of year. It makes the best use of a tight space for the course with some interesting holes. The greens are very tricky, fair and very fast. Well worth a visitReviewer Rating

First time i've played here, and was a little underwhelmed. Lot of the wholes felt like they were on top on each other, and very crammed in. Greens were quick, but very bumpy, so putting was tough. Fairways long in some places. Not bad, but doubt i'd be back.

Nice little track
This course is tucked away and you can easily drive past it un-noticed. Would have been to better to review if it was not such a wet day with gale force winds.(Round played: Sep 2019 - Score: 95 Handicap: 19.5)

Hindley, but not wicked like Myra!
A very wet day spoiled the beauty of the course. A few testing holes with more trees than a forest but keep in on the short stuff and you will be fine.(Round played: Jul 2019 - Score: 117 Handicap: 33.4)

Course in great condition. Plenty of interesting holes. Only normal shoes in clubhouse so we couldn't have a post round pint and staff a little strict! So nice course but not friendly!

The course was good ,not over long but tight.
But the club is very old fashion and stuffy, no wonder golf has a bad name.
Some of our group went in the club house with trainers on and were thrown out for not having shoes on. And after a few words were exchanged we were told never to come back again.
I mean shorts and evening shoes would look very smart !!!

really good course you have to play of mats to protect the fairways as from the 22 nd of october the greens were very good with no leaves left on them well done to the ground staff vary flat aswell ideal for the seniors amongst us

greens where very good ......course overall had some really good holes bit tight in parts and not sure about the shared fair way for the first and the 11th very good value for money if you use two-fore one

Hindley Hall is a parkland course and very well maintained.
Clever use of bunkers and hazards, off the fairway is generally in rough and you will need to decide whether to take your punishment and play out sideways or go for it, i will warn you you need good strong wrists.
second shots to the green are visually deceptive so trust your yardages, plenty of hollows and large banks to avoid if you can, but a good test for all abilities, need to be placing the ball on some holes rather than just getting the big dog out.
Clubhouse a bit snooty but on the whole very welcoming and great drinks and food.
