Walmersley Golf Club is a newly extended moorland course with spectacular views across Manchester, North Cheshire and Merseyside. The course measures 6064 yds with a par of 71 and SSS 70. Visitors will not have played on a more interesting and challenging course which will provide golfers of all standards a memorable day out and the warmest of welcomes.

Nice course worth playing
Second time playing Walmersley, first time was some 15 yrs ago. Not changed much from memory but in much better condition. Friendly welcome by Ken in the pro shop. First tee a good opener, par 3 downhill with great views from the tee. The superb views continue all the way round. Course in great condition, lots of grass on the fairways which I don't mind. Greens mint rolled really well. A little hilly in places but nothing too strenuous. A couple of short doglegs to catch you out where position is key. Nice welcome and pint in clubhouse to finish, as Arnie says, I'll be back.Reviewer Rating
