What The Club Says

The Brabazon at 7235 yards, par 72 is the spiritual home home of the Ryder Cup. Dave Thomas, the international golf architect and PGA Captain for 2001/2003, built the original course in the 1970s and its legend has grown from there.

The PGA National opened in 1997 and features extensive mounding and a number of water hazards which come into play on eight holes.

The Derby, at 6099 yards, par 70 complements the two Championship courses perfectly, providing challenging golf to all standards of players.
18 holes. Par 70. 6099 yards. Inland Links.

The Brabazon...

It's a lovely lay out. Not for the Novice for sure, very long very hard. Quality of course is so so bunkers are poor but it's hammered. Way too commercialised now the Belfry is just mayhem, hen parties, events all sorts. Golf seems secondary - and the Brab is VERY expensive

Busy and Wet

first time back in a while and it was so busy!! first 3 holes took well over a hour. Greens ran well and fast but quite a few had patches on, probably from the amount of "traffic" on them. Course played so so long.....
def need to play again when its a bit drier, firmer and faster.

Course was very busy, some of the fairways had bare patches , but the greens were fast.
The rough needed cutting in places under trees.
Good set up here and the green fee of £29.50 was very reasonable.

Nice Parkland Track

A nice parkland layout with a good smattering of trees, bunkers & a little bit of water.
The back 9 is slightly better than the front 9, but not by much.
The greens are the courses best defence, they are fast & true, but the undulations are the key. You think you’ve hit a good putt which is about to drop, then it rolls 12 feet away!
Definitely the third best course on the Belfry, but well worth a round.

PGA national

Two or three days of no rain has vastly improved the conditions of the Golf course. The tea boxes were as good as you could expect for this time of year, my Golf trousers stayed clean throughout the whole round which considering the wetness of many other courses throughout the country, this was fantastic. The greens were as quick as I’ve put it on and would expect them to be even quicker

Professional course at professional pace

Played this course in the winter, the course design and layout is fantastic with excellent bunker placement that has you thinking about your ball placement. The opening holes ease you in before you experience some challenging holes from the fourth onwards. The famous 10th hole was really a tick off the bucket list and while I didn't reach the green I did enjoy playing it. Greens were quick and smooth.

Unfortunately the course was let down by a 6 hour round, starting it at half ten and not even getting to the 16th before it was so dark we were struggling to find balls in the fairway. Waiting between10-15 mins on every tee and at least 8-10 mins between shots made for a long day particularly when you are paired up on the tee with people. The rough was long meaning any shot that didn't hit the fairway would resulted in spending more time looking for lost balls while groups between waited for longer.

Fairways are very wet and muddy but that it winter golf and with the amount of golf played on the course- the Greenkeeper?s are doing a great job,

Fairways were ver
