What the club says: Tavistock Golf Club, lying on the western slopes of Dartmoor,within the National Park has the added attraction of being in an area of outstanding beauty. A possible distraction for the most dedicated and committed golfer!

Worth playing
Lovely course on the top of the moor. Make sure you ask for some sort of map of the course before you play as it isn't very clear and you can end up playing the wrong greens very easily. Plays very much like a link course with very hard firm greens and well placed bunkers. Great course though(Round played: Jun 2017 - Score: 89 Handicap: 20.2)

There's a bit of dressing on some of the greens but that is splitting hairs and made no difference to the quality of my putting.

FIRST TIME PLAYED AND ENJOYED IT. DEFINITELY A DISADVANTAGE NOT HAVING PLAYED IT BEFORE AND NOT KNOWING HOW FAR BALL WAS GOING TO RUN ON ROCK HARD GREENS AND FAIRWAYS WAS DIFFICULT TO JUDGE. GREENS HAD BEEN TREATED AND WERE SANDY!WILL DEFINITELY RETURN!

superb value for money
The courese was forgiving in places but ig youbare going to miss make sure its in the right places otherwise theres probles!!
