Decent layout but in poor condition.

Interesting but lacking
Nice little find of a course but not the best maintenance. Greens were overly saturated (boggy in some places) despite having had no rain for over a week. Fairways and tee boxes were like concrete.Facilities were nice although dated. Food was excellent and staff great and helpful.

St Mary’s golf course is where you need to hit straight and pick your clubs of the carefully of the tees. Greens are well watered and fairways are dry and running fast.

Great course, in good condition.
Course in really good condition. Greens especially. Tees need a little love and care. The lower three that extend the 9 to 12 holes currently not in use.(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 94 Handicap: 19.8)

Nice course

First visit to St Mary's Golf Club and the weather was great. Course in very good condition. However the greens maybe needed cutting which made them rather slow but were in good condition.

I'm new to golf and I've played there about four times so far. I think it's a value for money and a good start to someone who is learning to play, as it is a good all round course for all levels of players.

Great course to play, even a day after snow/rain. Some boggy parts but apart from that the greens and fairways were great. The pro shop staff are also great!

St Marys was a very enjoyable course to play and excellent value for money, especially for a Saturday afternoon.
The course has a short yardage but still provides plenty of challenge with some tight fairways and threateningly placed hazards. Longer hitters will need to reign it in and play with their head.

Considering Autumn leaves are falling the fairways were quite clear but beware if you land in the rough. The greens were excellent and fast a good test of your putting ability. Beer and food in the club house bar was also excellent, the ten of us really enjoyed the day.

Been wanting to try this course for some time did not disappoint only comment the holes/tees were not clearly marked so a bit of guess work but will be regular visitors from now on pro shop very well equipped also

After a bit of rain a lot of the surrounding areas of the par 3's were horrendously water logged, water also made greens inconsistent too.
Even though a bad day for me, a nice challenging little course, will play there again as I believe it will help me improve.
