What the club says: Skelmorlie Golf Club is a long established 18 hole private golf course situated on the gentle slopes overlooking the villages of Skelmorlie & Wemyss Bay on the West Coast of Scotland. Only 40 mins from Glasgow & enjoying an unusually temperate climate which providing there is no frost, allows main greens to be used throughout the winter months.

A short but tricky course where good positional play will do well. An ideal course for a day ticket with rounds taking just over three hours for a three ball. Stunning views of the Firth of Clyde will add to the unforgettable experience of playing this par 65 sss 65 moorland course

Fun course with some challenging holes.

Fun course with some challenging holes on top Half of the course. Hard to give a full review on course condition as still in lockdown conditions. Fairways were fair and some greens in worse for wear condition but still very playable. 95% of members encountered were welcoming and friendly although had a run in with one member who felt we should not have been playing and was aggressive about it. Great value for money and definitely a course you should play once at least if on the west coast of Scotland

Excellent Course, although short by modern standards it is a tough and demanding layout especially on the Par 3 holes. The views are quite simply stunning. Provides a very enjoyable golfing experience.

I played this course with a member having not played golf for over 15 years. i found the course trick and not very forgiving as the rough seemed to attract and then eat my golf balls. The course is designed well and would definetly play again.

Nice short course. Short but interesting. A bit hard to judge shots on first go round due to blind holes. Spectacular views make it all worthwhile.
