What the club says: Largs Golf Club is a long-established private golf club with a superb 18-hole parkland course, situated in front of Kelburn Castle overlooking the Firth of Clyde with the islands of Cumbrae, Bute and Arran in the background, with Arran's Goat Fell and the 'Sleeping Warrior' dominating the landscape.

Brilliant course. Put on your list
Great day was had by all, a couple of the par 4s should definitely be 5s. 1st day out after lockdown didn't expect to play my best. Wind played a big part today, clubbed up to help then wind died oops.(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 101 Handicap: 24.2)

lovely flat course, fairways bit soft after lots of rain day before. greens were excellent. will defo play again. only downside was pace of play was slow due to it being very busy.

One of the weirdest par 3 for a starting hole I ve played, so 3 feels like a birdie
Straight up hill to a smallish green, but then the fun starts, great short holes,
Good long holes, awesome greens, great value alround, the 10/11th are your round wreckers
But enjoy it 9.5/10 for me

Just came off the course today. 9th March.. 2016. to say the greens are unbelievable for this time of year is an understatement.The roll on the ball was something you would expect to see on a good course in june, not in february. What with all the rain that the west coast has had i couldn\'t believe how quick the greens were.Look forward to visting again in the spring

Very good course, a little damp in places and preferred lays were annoying as good fairway shot could cause difficult approach shot after moved. Otherwise very good and will definitely return

I played the course today and was very impressed, the course is in fantastic condition and the views are spectacular. Although this is not a long course and most could get round without a driver in the bag, though what it lacks in length it more than makes up for in difficulty. A must if your in the area as although I am not a local (live in London, and visiting family) the friendly staff made a tee off available even on a busy Saturday afternoon

Beautifully situated course with excellent views of the firth and an attractive layout. A pleasure to walk round. Although comparatively short some interesting and testing holes.
