What the club says: Moorland course looking over the River Clyde to Argyll with Ben Lomond and many Munroes in the back ground with beautiful views all around the course.

Glorious Gourock
My first visit to Gourock Golf Club, but it will not be my last. What an excellent course layout.From the minute we arrived, staff were great. We used the relatively new Development Studio, which was a great area to warm up in. It’s also available for group bookings, which I think would be great.
Course was in very good condition, a bit hilly, so if you struggle in any way with your walking, book a buggy.
Some great holes, some very challenging holes, but overall a great place to play golf.
The food and service were exceptional, please do use the clubhouse facilities, excellent.
Views around the course and from the clubhouse are out of this world.
All in all, a great day.

Course with a view
Unfortunately went to play on a medal day really slow play. Other than that we had a great day out weather was fantastic course was in good condition and the Pro was very helpfull.Venue is worth a visit just for the views recommend.

lovely moorland course. pro was very helpful before i started. was very soft after loads of rain. greens were good. will play again but next time in summer.

(Round played: Apr 2016 - Score: 98 Handicap: 16.2) Sunday morning golf on a very good and testing course. Fortunately the wind wasn't too strong as this would be a further test on what is already a challenging course. Views across the firth of Clyde are exceptional.

Have played this course many times as I was a former member. But the course is on a downward spiral, greens are poor weather shouldn't be an excuse as most have been re built over the years. Tees are just dirt at the moment. Time for a serious look at how the course is run should be considered. The club house is as always clean and friendly with fair priced food. I will be back and would definitely recommend under the provision that the weather is fair. The scenery is second to none anywhere in Scotland especially late evening. Just a let down of late.
