What the club says: We have two James Braid designed parkland courses, an 18 hole course and a 9 hole course and offer golfers of all abilities a fair test of golf whilst you enjoy the magnificent views over the River Clyde and Dunoon.

Ive played over 350 courses in the last 3 years and Greenock right up there with my all time favourites. Played on a Sunday morning in lovely weather - course was very quiet. Its high up on the hill above Greenock - quite a few undulations and a few hills to climb but the views are stunning from on high. Actually feels like being in the Scottish Highlands with all the pine trees, yellow gorse heathland feel. Course was in magnificent condition andI though every single hole of the 18 was top notch. The closing hole absolute cracker downhill then uphill. Loved the course - friendly welcome and a nice clubhouse as well.

A good test of your golf with varied shots required. Fantastic views. Maybe a bit hilly for those not so fit.

Inside the clubhouse is very nice and welcoming staff. The 9 hole course was very short and not much of a test but still offers an enjoyable round if you are looking to play a quick round. The views are fantastic and I would return again.

course has an interesting layout but is very hilly and really needs an electric trolley to play and enjoy. holes can be quite tight and requires accurate hitting.
