Carry or Electric, not Push Trolley
My first issue was that there were no electric trolleys available that hadn’t been out so had a push trolley as the Pro said that the first is as bad as it gets. He was winding me up. With a push trolley it is hard work. Loved the layout though and you can see the slopes on the greens. The members were friendly and good fun to have a laugh with. The Pro Shop was well stocked.Reviewer Rating

Great course would be amazing in the dry weather
Course and local area had torrential rain the previous day, a lot of water on the course, greens were in brilliant condition if you were on the fairway you were fine. Love to play in a dry day would make club choice very different.(Round played: Sep 2020 - Score: 94 Handicap: 24.3)

A Must Play Course
Fabulous course in outstanding condition. Don't be fooled by the yardage. Many holes are tight with some demanding a carry off the tee. No two holes are alike with the par 3s being a real test of accuracy off the tee. The club house is looking a wee bit tired but there's plans afoot to build a new club house in the near future. This course is really worth playing....Reviewer Rating

Great views and course, will return!
Played on a sunny day, views were excellent!Course is tricky with some cracking greens which were lightning fast due to the dry conditions. Great fun to play.

Great course and very welcoming for visitors
Visited here recently and managed to get a tee time on a Saturday afternoon, though Scottish Cup final was on! First met by friendly members having a drink after their round, really welcoming, then the Pro who again couldn't have been more friendly. Course was in great condition, some fabulous views with some lovely holes fairways were in good condition and greens as well. Had a drink in bar afterwards and again the members made us feel very welcome. Seems a very well run golf club and highly recommended if you are in the area.Reviewer Rating

Reviewed Mar 24 2017
Its set high up on a hill against the Clyde Estuary and there are stunning views a plenty during the whole round. Whether they be out towards the town and the Clyde, or towards the mountains and Loch Lomond in the east, the course is a feast for the eyes.
I played it in March a week after some horrendous weather and the course was in great condition. 2 temp greens but the normal greens were excellent - fairly quick (especially for march) and extremely well looked after with good roll on all putts.
Barring the first 2 holes the course is surprisingly flat, with most holes being gentle rolling hills and mounds. It plays longer than its written yardage overall. Very fun course thats not particularly long, but there isnt a boring hole and lots of doglegs and a few blind shots too.
Would highly recommend.
