What The Club Says
Set in a scenic wooded valley on the outskirts of Bingley, the course is the creation of Dr Alister Mackenzie.
The Unusual thing about the course is that there are six Par 3 holes. One of which, the 7th, is the Course’s signature hole. Seven tough Par 4’s and 5 medium Par 5’s make up the rest of the challenge with trees lining the fairways, and several ditches and ponds to test golfers of all abilities.
At a little over 6200 yards do not be fooled into thinking you are in for an easy time here. Great facilities including practice putting green, practice ground with undercover bay and mats, practice green with bunker and warm up nets.

Nice course worth playing
Have played Shipley GC a few times now and always enjoy the round. Usual friendly welcome in the clubhouse, superb breakfast. Decent practice facilities. Course in decent nick as usual but thought greens were very patchy. A few difficult to putt on due to uneven surfaces, unusual for this club. Some nice looking holes and a fairly easy walk around. Will be back hopefully when they have their mint greens back.Reviewer Rating

Great course worth playing
Few years since I last played Shipley for the first time, said I would return some time, well today I did just that. Great breakfast to start with, friendly welcome in all areas. Decent practice facilities, well stocked pro shop. Course in great condition although found greens a little slow but true. Course well laid out with no one hole the same, some tricky par 3s. Easy walk around with only gentle inclines about. Would certainly return for a 3rd time.Reviewer Rating

Stunning
Absolutely stunning golf course. From the pro shop to the bar afterwards I couldn’t fault anything. Greens were fast and true and the variety of holes kept us entertained throughout. Will definitely be returningReviewer Rating

Lovely Course
Played for the first time - Sunday twilight rate of ?25 after 4 for visitors was good value - would perhaps have been excessive at ?50 as the greens were unfortunately not very good, but that didn't change our view that this is a lovely golf course with an unusual mix of holes. Tight in places ; wayward shots into trees often leave you with a chip out, well bunkered and some gorgeous views - will definitely return.Reviewer Rating

Challenging parkland course
I've been playing at Shipley GC for 4 months now, the course is always well prepared and the membership very welcoming. The course is fairly flat and easy to walk but is very challenging and unusual in that it has 6 par 3s, 6 par 4s and 6 par 5s.(Round played: Sep 2019 - Score: 96 Handicap: 25.8)
