What the club says: Formerly known as Shay Grange the course is set within 53 acres of tranquil parkland with a private fishing lake, and two further ponds, streams and mature trees to make your game of golf a pleasant but testing challenge.
We offer fantastic practice facilities with a 32 bay floodlit driving range, Outdoor short game area with 3 bunkers, Putting green and 50 yard chipping area also two PGA teaching professionals on hand seven days a week to improve your game.

Great pitch and putt style course but with a few par 4s. Great for getting back in to the game. Greens very slow though.

Decent course for new players, played here last summer and it was very well kept for the price. However due to poor weather the course is looking abit worse for wear, greens and filled with sand and fairways are hardly visible.

Lovely friendly little 9 hole course
Lovely friendly little 9 hole course, play here regularly and also use the practice facilities when good old British weather won't allow a round. Highly recommend this course, great for beginners(Round played: Mar 2019 - Score: 83 Handicap: 14.9)

Great little 9 hole course

Apart from some idiots behind us who where very impatient the course is looking well and the greens fairly unpredictable... play here at least once a week can't knock the value!!

Really good course for beginners although there is a more of a "pitch and putt" feel as anyone can turn up and play. No strict rules and we had a large goup of 8 behind us sharing one set of clubs. We therefore very rushed. Other than that, a really good course for beginniners.

Greens have continued to play quite well, if a little pot marked. Bunker sand has improved, but still a little hard/silt like in places

weather is poor so the tees, fairways and greens are either muddy or generally very soft. The Geese are still sh*tting on the greens (they're well practised), so it becomes a challenge getting passed/over their `deposits`. Very quiet at the moment, unsurprisingly with the weather, and this is great. Unfortunately, there are some very slow players ( I was convinced at one point, the two blokes in front of me had passed away standing up, such was their level of inactivity at times). Nonetheless, I love the club and the facilities.

Great golf course for developing the short game- tees and reens are well kept and navigating around the course is easy.. Very friendly staff and having the driving range on hand is great too. The shop is well stocked and the cafe is well placed and good value. Can't praise highly enough

This 9 hole course may be short for many experienced golfers at only 1739 yards (just under 1 mile long if you take the straight line!) but it offers a good variety of challenges and hazards for the novice and young golfers.
A friendly set up featuring a floodlit driving range, cafe and shop, providing advice and personal fitting facilities as well as coaching sessions for individuals and groups.
