The course is hilly and the ground was muddy with light rough long enough tp easily lose a ball. The greens had been hollow tyned and as we played, greenkeepers sanded them all using a heavy motorised spreader. This left bands of sand across an already bumpy surface. The spreader left impressions across the greens too. The combination of tyre impressions, griity sand and aireated greens msde putting a lottery.

Nice course worth playing
Played Northcliffe a few times now and never disappoints. Always friendly welcome. Course in good nick, greens good. A couple of long par 4s especially into prevailing wind. Last hole par 3 is a stunner. Worth playing for sure.Reviewer Rating

Really Poor Greens
Fairways in good shape but the greens are a disgrace. Really really poor given the last 2 months weather we have had.Reviewer Rating

Great course
Having played northcliffe for a number of years, and it has creatively evolved over that time into an exciting and challenging course over that period, which makes it a course that makes you want to return, time and time againReviewer Rating

Worth a visit
Pretty challenging course with some good holes, some quirky holes and some very challenging holes (index 1 is index 1 for a reason!). This was an autumn round so we probably didn't play the course at it's best. Greens were good, some of the tees were rather threadbare and very damp making it difficult to get a solid stance. We were last out, not given the gate code in the pro shop and left locked in the car park at the end of our round. Not the best welcome for a visiting group of golfers.Reviewer Rating
