What The Club Says
Situated on the north side of Manchester, close to the Pennine Way, the course occupies the northern and eastern slopes of Wharmton Hill and overlooks the Saddleworth villages of Dobcross, Greenfield and Uppermill. The course will provide a good challenge for high and low handicappers alike.

Beautiful course
This course is a revelation. It doesn't really matter if you play well or not .Hit a bad shot and just turn around and there is a view that makes you forget the bad shot !! My only criticism would be the greens could have been faster and smootherReviewer Rating

Great condition after heavy rain
Played after a few days heavy rain. Course in excellent condition with only one hole on temp green. Played off blue tees which wasn't a problem. Very busy but no hold ups and the round flowed easily. Greens a bit spongy but perfectly playable.Reviewer Rating

Moorland course
Considering the amount of rain we've had recently, the course was in excellent condition, fairways generally dry. Grass on greens a bit long but totally understandable - greenkeepers were on course mowing as we played.Reviewer Rating
