What the club says: Redlibbets Golf and Country Club certainly is a gem nestled in 160 acres of beautiful Kent countryside. The parkland course boasts hundreds of mature beech, oak and chestnut trees and enjoys spectacular panoramic views.
Redlibbets, under new management from August 2018, is now run by a team of golfers with genuine pedigree where the condition of the course is considered as critical to a great day's golf.
The greens are sand based to USGA specification and the rest of the site is free draining with a chalk subsoil.
The clubhouse offers wide-reaching views across the site with a balcony that seats 75 people, with additional internal space across three bars for a further 200 people. Our resident chef offers an excellent array of dishes and bespoke orders (in advance) can be accommodated. Historical reviews by visitors frequently makes reference to the outstanding service provided by our staff, compliments that we are all very proud of.

Don’t bother - SLOW!!!It’s painful! They allow multiple people to book the same tee time and it ruins the course.
We’ve played 5 holes in 1hr 40 mins and I have time to write this whilst waiting on the 6th tee box.
We tried it in the summer and it was terrible but we thought on a Tuesday in Winter it might be better. It’s not. Don’t bother.
A mix of good and badIt\'s been said already but the pace of play was shocking. 4hrs 45mins is madness for a Monday late morning round of golf. \After so much rain the course held up well. The greens & tees are fairly good. The fairways were okay. There are plenty of areas where the course seems scrappy and untended but these are mostly between greens and tees and other areas where you wouldn\'t normally be playing from. That\'s a shame as in parts the course looks stunning and some of the views are exceptional.\The round cost £18 which was very fair. \It\'d need to be in much better condition to "wow" you but I doubt the owners are going for that look anyway. \We had a slight issue with the speed of delivery of our breakfasts. They took about 30 mins to arrive which meant we were a little late teeing off. Looks like they don't have enough staff on. Decent quality & price though for what is a "pay & play" course.
A firm favouriteGood course with nice mix of holes. A good challenge all round.
Lovely CourseReally nice course and in good condition, however like all the recent reviews shameful tee time spacing caused the 1st holes to take almost 3h to complete. Clubhouse and staff were nice and good that they were still open on a Sunday gone dark.
Would definitely play again weekdays only though!

Looking really goodThe on-course improvements are really starting to show. Greens are excellent, changes to the bunkers have bedded in and work is underway on the tee boxes. All in all, a lovely course and I still havent played it to my handicap

Slow, slow, ...A money-making enterprise, any opportunity to stack-'em high
Will be very good - just not yetThe layout of the course is very good. The positioning of bunkers and hazards makes plotting the way around very challenging but still fair - all the hazards are there to be seen. The condition was only fair but perhaps forgivable following the difficulties experienced by all golf clubs since lockdown. Not sure this accounts for the scruffy appearance in many areas though. The greens had just been dressed so this has to depress the overall marking but they look like they would be true in normal times. Quick which was a surprise and some fiendish slopes. There are plenty of parts of the fairways that were quite bare - a lot of bald lies experienced by our group.
Tees were pretty good considering the amount of traffic the course must get. The bunkers were great - I was in a few. A few unraked but we played late afternoon so has to be expected in Covid times - who wants to touch the rakes? Lots of good quality sand.
Might sound that I didn't really enjoy the experience but nothing could be further from the truth. I'm going back there next month and looking forward to it.
Really slowGreat course, just really really slow, waiting for every shot
Very very slowVery slow play, won’t get your rhythm going at this course as waiting for every shot. Far too busy
Real Test, course is amazing conditionReally good test with no 2 holes the same, greens are in exceptional condition. Must visit if in the area.
Challenging courseTough Course but very enjoyable would definitely play there again.
Played in extremely hot conditions.

Mixed bagChallenging course, with summer bounces flattering you, or ruining your chances on a hole. Course condition really suffering due to the lack of rain, though the greens were fast and true. I'm not sure about the loud music on the clubhouse terrace?? I couldn't find anywhere to sit and relax before or after the round. Hopefully they reconsider this policy. I'd happily return and play again in the autumn, after some rain.
Great Golf Club, recommend a visitPlayed here for first time, after recommendation, obsolutely loved it, even if it was very busy, they had a massive 60th birthday celebration day, so plenty of ladies around!! Despite this enjoyed it, didn't feel like a slow round (even though it was 4 hrs 45mins) people so friendly and welcoming, enjoyed drinks at end, all Covid secure, and thinking of joining I loved it so much and Pro - Jerri Sewell was a dream!! Booking lessons soon
Busy courseChallenging course but very busy and quite a lot of slow play from players ahead of our 2 ball lots of pitch marks on the greens just left and not repaired will be my first choice in future.
