Highly Recommended 2018
What the club says: Redlibbets Golf and Country Club certainly is a gem nestled in 160 acres of beautiful Kent countryside. The parkland course boasts hundreds of mature beech, oak and chestnut trees and enjoys spectacular panoramic views.
Redlibbets, under new management from August 2018, is now run by a team of golfers with genuine pedigree where the condition of the course is considered as critical to a great day's golf.
The greens are sand based to USGA specification and the rest of the site is free draining with a chalk subsoil.
The clubhouse offers wide-reaching views across the site with a balcony that seats 75 people, with additional internal space across three bars for a further 200 people. Our resident chef offers an excellent array of dishes and bespoke orders (in advance) can be accommodated. Historical reviews by visitors frequently makes reference to the outstanding service provided by our staff, compliments that we are all very proud of.

I like the course
Why?Really don't know why they swapped the two nines around? I prefer to end up in front of the Clubhouse on the 18th.

Interesting layoutVery enjoyable course - there was some course maintenance on the day we played which meant the greens had been punched and sanded. This however did not spoil the overall enjoyment of the round. Very friendly staff and golf pro - they also give the option to play of which ever tee you prefer - no longer using the old members visitors and ladies tees , which I think is a great idea

Very much improved.I think there's been either a change of management or a change of thinking but either way this place has improved immensely.
The welcome in the bar is warm and attentive. The food was excellent.
Pro shop welcome has warmed considerably.
And the course has been changed round. You now play off the old tenth first. Which gives the course a much better flow. You're not playing a difficult opening hole or SI 1 as your second hole now. Time to warm up for it on the front 9.
The general look and feel of the course has been improved, although they could still do with more sand in the bunkers most of the way round.
I've previously review this course and not been over impressed. Now I would recommend it.

Great conditionThis is a great example of how a course can be turned around with some TLC and thought process. They have switched the nines and this makes for a much easier walking parkland course - you can tackle the uphill walks early while still energised. The course has been tidied up - neat edges and new signs spruce up each hole. The greens are very smooth and run around 11/12 on the stipmeter. This course requires thought and placement off the tee given the trees lining some holes but the reward is a terrific set up and best of greens we have encountered this year. The service in the Pro Shop and bar were both warm and welcoming.
Looked afterWas part of a society and we were well looked after. Tees etc given out to us at the start, free drinks vouchers also given out. Course was in good condition and played well.
