What The Club Says
Murrayfield Golf Club offers parkland golf just outside of Edinburgh's city center, played on a course that is occasionally hilly, always challenging and more than rewarding for all levels of golfer. Each hole features its own unique challenges, so boredom won't be an issue, and the soundtrack piped in from the neighboring Edinburgh zoo makes for its own kind of unique.

Some of the best view of Edinburgh you will ever get
I have played here a number of times over the years. It's a short, hilly course with some great views. It is certainly not easy as the tough holes all play into the wind and the short holes are tight with a lot of danger. The course is better played off the back tees and accuracy into the greens is key. The tees and fairways were lovely but the greens needed a cut - they were pretty slow. It has a great collection of par 3 holes, the highlight is surely the 10th where you tee off about 100 feet above the green.Reviewer Rating

Green run true and not too quick
Bunkers very wet
Slow play and not being allowed/waved through meant waiting at most tees

Magnificent Murrayfield
