What the club says: A wonderful mature parkland course laid out by J F Abercrombie in 1923, designer of many fine courses including Worpledon, Coombie Hill and the Addington.
Set in 145 acres of gently undulating Green Belt land extending over the Mote Mount Estate on the borders of Hertfordshire and North London. Its 18 holes are all individually designed, many bordered by ancient oaks with lakes on the 2nd, 9th, 10th and 17th. The course itself although only measuring 6247 yards, represents a stern golfing challenge whatever your handicap.

Worth a visitNice course, greens a bit untidy due to bird damage but surface very good. Interestign course to play and staff service excellent. Definitely worth a visit

Lovely course in LondonGreat course with lots of scope for working on your all round game. Good variety of long and short with great greens and some spectacular views from the elevated tees.

A good course in Greater LondonVery well maintained. Unfortunately it there is a lot of traffic noise can the course is situated between the A1 and M1.

Oasis after lockdownPlayed just as 4 balls allowed again, a great testing course, greens could have been quicker only criticism. The club has a full length sheltered driving range, rare in N. London. Not really fair to rate F&B as club house closed due to CV-19 rules. Bonus was a halfway house serving burgers/sandwiches & refreshments which was an unexpected bonus!
Pretty course, open fairways
Pretty course, open fairways
Good course, with some enjoyable holesEnjoyed playing Mill Hill. Recent weather meant the course was in a broadly dry condition but played well. Rough cut down so wide fairways/rough to hit, and greens were overall good (3 were being grown out and were spongy). Tee boxes were mostly good and flat and overall course was in reasonable nick. The bunker lack sand, but less of an issue during Covid given free drop.
Would play again. Reasonable value for money.

Arun PatelGreat challenging course in very good condition
Last putt before LockdownPutting out on the 18th after sunset we were very grateful to have completed a final round for who knows how long. Let?s hope soon. It hardly seems fair to be too critical during these times but I?m looking forward to going back when the greens & especially the fairways might get the attention they deserve
Local courseGreat course, plenty of challenge, but a bit pricey

Nice Course - worth visitingVery enjoyable course to play, despite the traffic noise which is easily ignored once you start playing. Greens in excellent condition and running smooth and fast today. Some challenging holes you have to think about.
