What the club says: The Arden course is one of the country's most spectacular challenges and host to a succession of international tournaments, including the 1997-1999 One-2-One British Masters, 2000-2002 English Open and the 2003 British Masters. It also has one of the European Tour's most distinct signature holes in its 18th; a Par 3, 202-yard hole overlooking the fishing lakes and resort.
The Aylesford Course; Golfers of all abilities will find the shorter Aylesford course a varied and enjoyable challenge. Kept to the same high standard as its celebrity sister, both courses offer a good chance that the friendly local deer will wander on to the course in this majestic countryside setting.

great golfing venue perfect for societies
accommodation was great and I stayed for a two day competition. food and rooms were of a decent standard and the fact that we never had to leave the site between rounds added to the experience. love both golf courses but especially like the Donald steel main course having been a spectator watching the seniors tour compete at the venue. following in their footsteps is an awesome golfing experience. condition of the courses was good and the staff on the golf course were very helpful and supportive. I played with a serenely disabled playing partner who need full motorised wheelchair and the facility was fully accessible for him throughout. THIS IS A MAJOR POSITIVE IN MY VIEW. Already booked to returnReviewer Rating

Worth a visit
Great course, not as busy as I expected. In excellent condition and all aspects well maintained. Quite forgiving for first time visitors with well laid out hazards to catch the unwaryReviewer Rating

Certainly a Course you have to play
This has to be one of the top courses in the Midlands. Some amazing holes on the Arden Course and some testers on the Aylesford Course. Both varied and if you get the opportunity to play both then please do. Superb tester of a hole on the 18th at the Arden. Par 3 straight over the water, try or die !!Reviewer Rating

The course, was immaculate considering all the warm weather we had recently. The greens were tricky, but grass was lush and greens were a good pace and not too quick. The back 9 is stunning with dear all over the course. The half way house was fully stocked which was handy on such a warm day.The final comment is there are numerous bunkers strategically positioned all over the course but the sand was so good and easy to get out any bunkers which was a nice change from some courses.

Exceptional
Played the Arden course 09/05/2023, and what a fantastic course it was, fairways fantastic the greens immaculate couldn't fault it at all, we played the brabazon course a month ago that didn't compare to the Arden whatsoever. Thank you from myself and my 3 friends who played.Reviewer Rating

Certainly a Course you have to play
Played the Arden at the Forest Of Arden. Great course, nice little easy opener then it gets progressively harder from there to the 9th. Amazing back 9 and some beautiful holes with the Deer in the background. They are obviously used to the Golfers as its amazing how close they actually come when you are on the tee. Superb 18th final Par 3 Hole. Basically you have to hit it or die. lol. Very little room to land over the large lake if you are short.Reviewer Rating

Fantastic course
Great course to play, with a wide open course, with distance being key. Front 9 and Back 9 are completely different in terms of setting and golfing adventure.Reviewer Rating
