Highly Recommended 2018
What the club says: The Arden course is one of the country's most spectacular challenges and host to a succession of international tournaments, including the 1997-1999 One-2-One British Masters, 2000-2002 English Open and the 2003 British Masters. It also has one of the European Tour's most distinct signature holes in its 18th; a Par 3, 202-yard hole overlooking the fishing lakes and resort.
The Aylesford Course; Golfers of all abilities will find the shorter Aylesford course a varied and enjoyable challenge. Kept to the same high standard as its celebrity sister, both courses offer a good chance that the friendly local deer will wander on to the course in this majestic countryside setting.

The Ardens younger brother
Played the Front 9 on the Aylesford. Muddy in places but a nice course, Well worth playing if you aren't playing the Arden course.(Round played Front 9 : Oct 2020 - Score: 52 Handicap: )

Fab courses
Good accommodation. great courses, good welcome, well stocked pro shop - what's not to like

The Arden is a top course, the Aylesford isn't bad either
Both courses in superb condition. The Arden is obviously the jewel here, but don't discount the Aylesford because of that, it's a really good challenge. Tees and greens all kept to a very high standard. Fairways that are close to being carpets. Covid meant restricted menus which puts a bit of a damper on the post round.

Beautiful and Challenging
The Arden course is tough. The starter warned us against playing from the whites. Should?ve taken his advice! Greens and green complex areas are very well prepared. Hot tip, bring bug spray as the water features might be beautiful but they come with an unexpected cost ????

Great days
Really enjoyed out time there. Both courses in great condition. The hotel was very good and with the present situation we were impressed at their dilengnce and care.

One of my Favourite Courses
The Arden course in my eyes is right up there. It really has it all. Great variety of holes. Greens as good as you?ll find. Bunkers probably the best I?ve played out of. Stunning scenery. Really does tick every box for me. From the 8th hole onwards I don?t think you will find a better stretch of holes. The 18th is one of the best finishing hikes you?re likely to play. Five stars from me.

One of the best in the midlands
Great parkland track, with a heathland feel on the back 9. No weak holes, but lots of highlights throughout. Decent practice facilities as well, with access to highly regarded coaches such as alistair Davies and chris ryan.

Venue with lots of options
Lucky enough to play both courses a few weeks prior to the European Tour UK Swing event. The Arden was superb and in great condition and a lovely layout and challenge to play. It is also a typical resort style layout so nice and wide off the tees, plenty of hazards and nice big greens which were in excellent condition. Nice to finish with a par 3 over water as welll.
The Aylesbury is slightly shorter but provided several risk and reward holes and was also in great condition.
I'd highly recommend both courses if you are looking for somewhere to play in the area and you will find that the Arden and Aylesbury are priced accordingly for what they provide. With the hotel the venue provides a great option for a stay and play trip or even society golf outing and although I suspect it is often overlooked by its more famous neighbour make sure you look to play here at some point you won't be disappointed.

Full of bandits
I?ve never known a course like the Aylesford, every member seems to be a bandit going round with 40+ points each week. Very small boring course with forgettable holes and expensive beer. Don?t expect to come off this course with your fiver bet intact if you come across the Aylesford bandits. Avoid.

Fabulous condition
Rather open, bit up down up down but from tee to green the course was in excellent condition. Pretty flat too so good for us lazy people. Paid £20 through the pro shop for the round too which is was well worth the money. Friendly people on and off the course(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 90 Handicap: )

Great greens
Really enjoyable Monday morning round.Greens are superb.
The course is in great condition. The rough either side of the fairway is the courses main defence. Quite a few bunkers on the course, not in the best condition at the minute due to having no rakes with covid 19.
Great pace of play for a fourball we was round in 3hr20 mins.
