What the club says: The Arden course is one of the country's most spectacular challenges and host to a succession of international tournaments, including the 1997-1999 One-2-One British Masters, 2000-2002 English Open and the 2003 British Masters. It also has one of the European Tour's most distinct signature holes in its 18th; a Par 3, 202-yard hole overlooking the fishing lakes and resort.

The Aylesford Course; Golfers of all abilities will find the shorter Aylesford course a varied and enjoyable challenge. Kept to the same high standard as its celebrity sister, both courses offer a good chance that the friendly local deer will wander on to the course in this majestic countryside setting.

I've played here a few times and overall the experience is one I would recommend. The course was in excellent condition, the fairways were great but with many unrepaired divot holes. The greens were running fast and true. This is a fairly long course and you will be hitting medium to long irons into many of the par 4's and par 3's. If you're on a budget though, beware of the extortionate prices in the clubhouse. 2 quid for a small bottle of water is daylight robbery! - Sep 20 2013

Golfshake Team Review

I play a lot of different courses during the year and this is definitely the longest and toughest course I get to play. The greens are hard and fast so beware the 3 putts! (I won't admit to how many I had) There are 6 long par 4's which at more than 410 yards on average i find hard to reach in 2 and par ....but the four par 5's are all 'par-able' to compensate. But the par 3's are the signature holes and I think difficult for most of us mid-high handicappers. Arden is a gorgeous course and has to be played. the fairways are lush. My only disappointment was all the deer sat down instead of roaming across the fairways (they obviously heard about my new driver so were taking cover !) Score 93 (Handicap 14) - Apr 21 2017

One great nine, one terrible
Very wet front nine and very dull, back nine a gem. Completely over priced and unrealistic for November

Russ R rated 3 out of 5 - Nov 3 2017

Great summer track, greens average in November
They persist in shaving down the greens yet they can't handle it, footprints everywhere and its not wet yet. Front nine turns into a bog through winter. Back nine is simple the best nine around for me.

Great staff, pro shop and starters. I love this course but its a May to Late September based on there prices only. Coffee is great from half way house :-) and cheap over the bar

Winter series £45 + £5 cash sweep not great value.
