What the club says: A course that provides excellent facilities for the benefit of golfers of all ages and backgrounds.
The course is an eighteen-hole, par 70 parkland course on the outskirts of Newport, South Wales in the middle of beautiful woodland countryside.

fantastic
Our society group organised our annual event at Llanwern and we are never disappointed. The course and the staff made the whole day a complete success. I would recommend this course to anyone who likes a challenge. We played the course in August and the ground staff had done a good job on keeping the greens in such great condition. Good parkland test

Great parkland challenge!
Good variety of holes, up and downhill challenges, no two holes the same yet retains flow and continuity very nicely.The layout poses risk and reward very well, and I shall be returning very soon indeed!

A tough challenge. Several narrow, tree-lined, steep sloping fairways. Course in very good condition with true, pacey greens.

Just absolutely wonderful
Well what an absolute gem of a club.Cannot find one fault,lovely pro in the shop very friendly and helpful members magnificent golf course in truely fantastic condition and an amazing layout and welcoming bar after with great prices.We are from the Bristol area just wish we had a place like this on our doorstep makes me want to move to Wales.
Well done Llanwern golf club you are a credit to the game of golf.

Very good course and friendly staff, proud to be a member.
Since taking out my membership, I have had the privilege of playing this course on multiple occasions. The fairways, roughs and greens are all very well maintained and it's a pleasure to play such a stunning and presentable course. Staff are friendly and the course pro Steve is always on hand to help, it really is service with a smile. The clubhouse is large and welcoming, with excellent refreshment options.
