What The Club Says
Launceston Golf Club is set in the beautiful surroundings of the Tamar Valley. This entertaining course is a challenging track where good course management is a must. You need to be accurate off the tee as the tree lined fairways make your approach shot to the well-guarded greens that bit more difficult.

Friendly and challenging
A very friendly course (staff and fellow players). For a higher handicap player it's definitely challenging enough. Lots of variety to the holes. In very good condition. Amazingly we got around in 3.25 hours - a 2 ball following a 3 ball.Reviewer Rating

Launceston
lovely course in great nick.Plenty of shape to the fairways to keep you thinking. Also several holes with altitude changes going up and down.
The greens needed plenty of thought too as it was quite a hot dry day and they were playing quick.
Friendly pro shop and well stocked clubhouse.

Lovely Course, friendly staff
A cold damp winters day, but the course was still in very good condition with all greens open, but all tees temporary mats. A lovely rolling course with wide fairways and very little nasty rough and not many bunkers. Decent pace of play, 3.75 hrs and everyone we met was friendly, staff and players. Will come back again in the summer when I suspect it will be even more inviting.Reviewer Rating
