Great, cheap, little course in the West end of Glasgow

It is what it is, don't expect augusta level fairways and greens. Its rough around the edges, can be squidgy underfoot and doesn't always look great... but it has some challenging holes, uses the space it has well, costs less than 10 quid for a round and is welcoming of every level of player.
My only gripe would be the grounds keepers. When in their tractors cutting the grass, scouring moss out removing plugs to aerate the fairways they don't take account of those playing, so you can end up with 3/4/5 groups backed up at tees waiting for them. Come on, it's not hard to pull to the side and let the players through...

Garbage

If your planning on booking here don’t bother the course is an absolute shambles!!!.the course is almost unplayable with massive bogs on the fairways and foul smelling water collected in parts.dog Walker at fairway making it dangerous to even play golf there wot happens if a drive hits one of them?staff don’t seem to care tho laughing and joking with said dog walkers at the tee box.local drunks sit at some holes drinking and causing a nuisance to players leaving drink cans and bottles wedged in tree like Christmas decorations.there is no clubhouse facilities here either so really charging £7.50 is a joke.rounds routinely interrupted by rude staff asking if you’ve paid on and hassling you till they realise you have paid all round a sub par performance of a course haha get it sorted.no practice facilities no putting greens nothing the place is a wasteland

Been round a few times recently, a cracking little course to learn on and perfect some shots before going to the more luxurious courses. Also tricky at times defo worth the £7 for the nine since your about £8 for a driving range, and you get actual experience on the fairways/roughs etc. that the range cant replicate.

A public course, not bad for £6 but you have to come early to avoid wandering locals from the surrounding area.

Oh, I was putting while the greenkeeper was mowing the green around me, interesting maintenance timing...! On the bright side, this definitely improved my golf with such a noisy distraction beside me...

My reveiw of the course is not very good the reason for that is if there is a lot of rain the course does not dry out for ages and becomes very marshy In saying that when the weather is fair it is a wonderful little 9 hole golf course and is pretty well looked after by the groundsmen and can olso be a very tricky course.

Harry
