What The Club Says

Running on the Aberdeen beach front, golf has been played in this area since 1661.
Set between the city and the sea and using the natural undulating terrain of the dunes, along with the varying wind conditions, Kings Links offers an enjoyable challenge for golfers keen to experience authentic links golf.

The current Kings Links course was laid out in 1872 and it is a classic links course so characteristic of Scotland’s east coast. Think big dunes, very quick greens and lots of bunkers. Described as “golf in the raw”, watch out if the wind is blowing! The current course layout is 6442 yards Par 71

Nice course.

A good course for a change, playing partner has some mobility issues and the links is a fairly flat course with a couple of small slopes mid way round. As a council member the course is good value although there are no facilities if you are not affiliated with one of the clubs there. Soft drinks can be bought from the starters box and there is a toilet there.

Great Links Course

A great courses, greene very well maintained and quick. Fairways generous if you are accurate, the par 3?s challenging though a few more would be good. Overall a great course for any level of golfer

Round at KIng`s Links

First round in a long time at the Links, course was in reasonable condition in spite of the obvious problems due to the lockdown. Greens were a bit rough, not too much grass coverage and a bit bobbly but certainly not the worst I have played this year. Will not be the last time I play here this year, and the course and my play can only improve!
