What The Club Says
Hunstanton links is a classic 'out and back' design, on either side of a central spine or dune ridge. The 12th, 13th and 14th holes play across this ridge. The new 18th, also on the seaward side, is equally difficult! In 1971 and 2002-4, new bunkering was introduced on 8 of the holes, making Hunstanton, from the back tees and with the usual breezes, a tough but exhilarating test of golfing skill.

Outstanding course - even held up in the weather of 2024
I played Hunstanton in March 2024 - the year of the rain.The course was exceptional.
Standing water on the course was rare - small patch on the first fairway - but barely any throughout the rest of the course.
Bunkers were very good - except a couple that filled with rain water.
Greens - in comparison to all other courses I had played up to March 2024, they were like lightning and true. Hats off to the Greenskeepers for being able to maintain them to such a high standard.
The course was a lot of fun to play. I'd love to play it again.
Scored course conditions as a 7 - because it would be even better with some dry weather and more sunshine.
Value for money - it's at the higher end of what I regularly would choose to pay but it is worth it.
Guys in the pro-shop - very friendly
Team in the club house - friendly and attentive

Avoid the pot bunkers on the greens as they are card wreckers.
Some beautiful holes and such a good test for players of all abilities.
A lot of 4 irons played of tees for position.
