Hickory heaven
Played there a couple of weeks ago. Some of the members came out of the clubhouse to have a chat about the old hickory clubs i was using. All very hospitable and interested. The course was in great condition and offered a host of challenging holes. A great day out if you're anywhere near the area.Reviewer Rating

Interesting links style course with some really quirky holes. The stretch from 10 to 14 is lovely but would benefit from some hole plans on the tees for the uninitiated.Reviewer Rating

First time I have played this course, I would however definitely play it again. The course was in excellent condition, but was challenging due to the strong wind off the North Sea.

Loved It
The wind was howling but it made the test oh such sweeter. Some lovely holes and all challenging. This truly is one of the best links courses I have had the delight to play and reminded me very much of Dunstanburgh. Hartlepool is a hiddne gem and one I wish to play again and again.Reviewer Rating

Hidden gem
This is a super course, the green fees were a great price for a Saturday afternoon. The layout has produced some nice holes with a few dogleg holes. The first is a very friendly short par 4, then you are into a long par 5. The course condition was very good with nice fairways and greens. The 10th is a good looking hole going towards the sea, there is a tricky finishing stretch. The members and staff were all very friendly.Reviewer Rating

Teesside golf trip
Played as part of an event. Very enjoyable course hidden away the other side of the railway. Starts and finish with pleasant but not special holes in from the dunes, but really comes alive in the links section, Some fantastic holes!Reviewer Rating

Got to play.

Really interesting course, some hit a big drive holes some you need to think about.
Part up in the sand dunes and in the main feels like links, two or three holes feel different.

Excellent, testing links course with great views over the sea. Some good raised tee boxes and a good mixture of long and short par 3s. Some of the par 4s play long, biggest tip is stay out of the rough.

Rather disapointed with this course. The first few holes are bland up and down holes with only a handful of interesting genuine links holes on the whole course. We met some very friendly locals who were very helpful showing us the way, this was most welcome as the course isn't well signposted.

What a wonderful course. A real test of links golf at its finest. Our Seniors Annual Tour(20members) we're also fortunate in playing in glorious weather. Hope to be able to return in the near future.
