Very Nice
Nice place, practice facilities are good if the range is a little basic. Has a grass range which is good. Course plays quite easy, huge wide fairways with well placed bunkers. Club house well presented and run.Reviewer Rating

Challenging course
I've played Wynyard Golf ?? course on several occasions over the past 12 months. The course is challenging, there are numerous bunkers strategically placed to catch all levels of golfers out.
The bunkers have a decent amount of send and appear to be regularly naintained. The fairways are in very good condition especially for this time of year,
The Greens are undulating in places, 2 tier at times and quite difficult to read, but in excellent condition.

Nice Course
I found this course very enjoyable. It is quite long but with generous fairway but very tough rough if you are wayward. All in all a very nice testing course.Reviewer Rating

Always in good condition
Love playing the Wynyard, greens are excellent at the moment, the course was closed day prior to playing due to heavy rain, but apart from some bunkers out of play the course was excellent as always. Great relaxed atmosphere in the clubhouse with a great choice of food and beverages, will always return to play this great venueReviewer Rating

Lovely course, area, clubhouse, people
Driving into the course is an experience just looking at the properties, its at this time you realise this course must be good to survive in such an affluent area. The clubhouse is lovely with a prime view over the 18th and driving range. The pro was really friendly and helpful and got us out early for our bacon/drink/round deal and thank god he did as we spotted around 20 people on the 1st as we passed it to the 10th. The course is lovely, i imagine in summer when its less boggy and the fairways are mowed it would be a stunner. Some of the holes are wide open and look easy until you realise the bunkering is excellent and means you need to think twice if you're a 250-280 driver. Greens were good, some a bit uneven due to hollow tining recently, but it didn't take away from our play. Some holes are surrounded by amazing mansions with rich footballer type facilities, which makes for fun viewing as you enjoy this course. I would say its probably a good scoring course in summer as many holes are open and although there is water in play, often it should not really worry a decent golfer. Having enjoyed the round we had our food afterwards in the lovely bar area which is light and airy with TV's and a really nice touch is the staff all wearing branded aprons and are very attentive and polite. All in all a lovely experience for their ?55 package price. We will come back again in better weather as I imagine it will be in a different league again when dry and manicured.Reviewer Rating
