What the club says: A mature parkland 18 hole course designed by Dr Alister MacKenzie. Garforth is the most easterly of the golf courses fringing the North of the city of Leeds.

What Golfshake says:

Most Helpful Review

Course is ok, but in the club house you are guaranteed a hostile, unfriendly welcome. Be prepared to be abused by club players and committee. The words small minded, petty and pathetic come to mind. Outsiders are not encouraged to be part of the club. Best avoided, there are many better clubs in the area. - Aug 4 2013

Great course and a friendly welcome
Played here a few times, and you are always sure of a warm welcome. A testing layout with some water hazards to negotiate. The greens are reasonably quick and true, and a lot of the fairways undulating, a Dr McKenzie trademark. After a good test of golf you should have a drink on the balcony overlooking the 18th. Well worth a visit.

great course, 'linksy' feel and drains very well after rain. Happy to return and play again in future

Greens very slow, could have done with a cut. Over all course was good, friendly staff and made to feel welcomed?.
