Testing Links course with great features everywhere

Challenging links golf on a surprisingly hilly golf course. Somewhat gentle front 6 start a then tough middle 6 holes played into a 2 club wind.Final 6 holes with some short par 4 help you get the card back.
Great course for golf society days as very friendly.

True links

Best value links in the North West? Proper links course with all the usual hazards. Pace of play was poor as we were following a county match which was not notified at the time of booking.

Great course.

The course was in a great condition considering it had rained heavily for a few days before we played. The fairways were cut well but there's still the odd patch where your ball almost plugs into the soft ground. The rough is very unforgiving and it can easily wreck your card. The greens were of a good pace but slightly woolly in places so they needed that bit extra on some holes. Still a great course to play and the conditions were good unlike the golf.

Easily the best course in the Furness Area and a real test of golf, you can play this course 7 days of the week and you will hit different irons/tee shots on every hole, it never plays the same. Club House is nice with good food and friendly staff

Golfshake Team ReviewThis course is a true links course and is quite a challenge when the wind is up but is rewarding if you play well. The stretch of holes along the beach in particular prove difficult in the wind, but an enjoyable challenge nonetheless, especially with its excellent greens.

A true links course. If the wind is up it is extremely tough but rewarding if you play well. Excellent greens, probably best in the area. Good value for the course. The stretch along the beach are good. Bar is friendly but other amenities are basic.
