Lake District views

I really enjoyed my round here, I had booked to play as a solo player as I was on holiday with my wife (a non-golfer). The pro teamed me up with a local so I had someone to chat to on my way round, also this was a benefit as he had played the course before & I hadn't. Some greens were a bit bobbly & had to either play off mats or move to first cut which wasn't a problem. Great views from around the course

Barrow is a pleasant course that offers some outstanding views, especially from the first tee. The rough is deceptively long and is arguably the toughest aspect of this course. The greens are usually of a good pace here too. When the wind picks up, this course really is a test.
