What The Club Says
The Lakes Course (Five Lakes Resort). This course, designed by Neil Coles, is used annually for regional PGA events and was the venue for the Nick Faldo Challenge. The course provides a testing examination for the better player as well as an enjoyable round for all standards. Water features strongly in the overall design of the Lakes Course, coming in to play on ten of the holes.

Good course in Essex Countryside

Good course, but no sand in the bunkers!
I did enjoy the layout and the course was in a good condition. My only complaint was a complete lack of sand in the bunkers! The greens were hard to read with most of them being slower than I am used too, but a couple were fast! It is expensive, at £30 as a member's guest late afternoon.Reviewer Rating

Poor experience.
Greens bumpy with many bare patches on every one. We got a deal at £15 per round which was overpriced. £70 for a round at peak times in unbelievably poor value. Won’t be back.Reviewer Rating
