Quality parkland course
A cracking municipal parkland course. Some good challenges with trees, water & strategic Bunkers.
Although challenging its still a course that a high handicapper can enjoy.
Look out for the 6th, 10th & 12th holes, probably the three best holes on the course.
Always in great condition, except can get a bit wet in places. They try to stay on full greens all year round.

Same as last time
Same review as last timeSuperbly laid out amongst trees & over water to provide a great test of golf.
Some investment over recent years has seen the course come on leaps & bounds, with better drainage, improved greens, paths & a driving range with Top Tracer.
It's arguable better than some of the private courses in the area
Always a friendly welcome it's definitely a course worth checking out if you're in the area.

I'm a member, so I'm biased, but this is a cracker of a parkland course.Superbly laid out amongst trees & over water to provide a great test of golf.

Biased view
I'm biased, Duxbury is my home course & I love it.It just gets better & better. The whole upkeep of the course is the best it's ever been, & set to improve even further as they continue to invest.
There now a small driving range & all the bays have trackman, which is a great way to warm up before a round.
The course layout is superb, a great challenge with a mix of tree lined holes, some water, a few slopes & well placed bunkers.
Add to this full greens all year round & very few winter tees, plus they don't ask to play off mats or move into the tough & you have a great good course which is playable all year round
