Check with the course before booking with Tee Times as they sometimes have better deals on.

I've played 4 times this month and got my last round free, plus 3 balls, via a loyalty card, (which is free) excellent value!!! The shop staff are very courteous and helpful and always advise you of the best deals. The course is in excellent at the moment, helped by the good weather... good for a beer aftwards too.

A great municipal course. Well played out with a great mix of water, trees & bunkers to test your skills.
It's challenging but fair & the course condition has improved massively in recent years.
There are e great holes over water, 6, 10 & 12, which will really test your nerve.
Loads of work being done with new paths, laser levelling tee boxes & the building of a new driving range.
It's a cracking municipal course & well worth a visit.

Best Condition for Years
Duxbury is in the best condition I've seen it for years & I've been playing it since 1979!It's always been superbly laid out with some great challenging holes like 4, 6, 10 & 12 & a few where you can open your shoulders a bit, 8, 13 & 16.
There's a great mix of slopes, trees & water to always keep you thinking, yet be fair to novice golfers.
There's always a warm welcome in the pro shop & the greens staff are always friendly (unlike some courses)
If you're in the area, it's a must play for the value it offers.

Great Municipal
Duxbury is a superb municipal golf course.It's a good test of golf with numerous hazards, trees, water, blind shots.
You start with a drive that you have to thread between two trees & a bunker & it builds from there.
The greens are very good for the time of year & all 18 are on full greens. Parts of the course are very wet, but most courses in the UK are very wet at the moment.
All in all a great golfing experience.

Beautiful Parkland Course
Stunning Parkland Course - great layout and some interesting holes but was very wet / boggy in parts (should have played to winter rules) and greens looked like they had recently been relaid so hadn’t bedded in. Also, can’t believe how many Golfers don’t bother to repair their pitch marks - was repairing at least 2 on every green ! Need a decent dry spell before we play again.(Round played: Sep 2019 - Score: 92 Handicap: 13.1)

Good course conditions, hot weather. Par many holes but the course was challenging for a parkland championship. Long hot afternoon and very valuable for money.

Getting Better
It has been a while since I last played and from all the positive e mails i had received from Glendale i was expecting good things. Which all apart from the 11th green were really good. The course in general was in really good condition. Keep up the good work and please sort out the 11th green it like putting across pot holes.Reviewer Rating

Very poor course conditions, especially the greens. Could have been playing on crazy golf greens and would not have noticed the difference.

Enjoyed the course layout but the greens were terrible. Need some serious money, but could be a good course. Pace was slow, as was service in the bar.
