What The Club Says
The front nine is reasonably flat whilst the terrain of the back nine starts testing the fitness and psyche of the average golfer. Fairways are wider than most throughout the course, the intention being to let the ponds, bunkers and course structure challenge the player and his skills.

Excellent Value for Money
Played this fine parkland this afternoon and the course was in terrific condition given the dreadful weather July has brought. A good test of golf with many mature trees lining the generous fairways. The greens were in great shape. Many were large in size and had a variety of contours and climbs with a number of 2 tiers greens present too. Many of the greens were well protected with sand traps or ponds so accurate iron play was a necessity. The fabulous 9th hole typified this, (Darren Clarke signature hole) it was a real wee gem and worth the visit alone. The back nine was hilly in places. I'm still pushing my trolley and felt that I could have benefitted from an electric trolley as I climbed the 15th!! Thankfully it was largely downhill thereafter. On the whole, however, we really enjoyed our round in Dungannon. A lovely golf course which was excellent value for money. We will definitely be backReviewer Rating

Tee boxes generally poor and greens showing disease with scorched areas on many.
Granted the drought has played a part though my own home course in Cheshire has been subject to the same weather and remains in excellent condition throughout.

Interesting and challenging
This is an interesting course maintained in excellent condition. There is a wide range of holes, with tricky par 3s, dog leg par 4s and long par 5s. The signature hole is the par 3 Darren Clarke 9th, designed by the Open Champion 2011. This course presents a challenge to everyone, from the beginner through to the scratch golfer.Reviewer Rating

Fantastic Venue
A really wonderful golf course/ club house.Heard the Get into Golf tuition with David the pro is really good. David is a really nice guy. Might decide to give it a go in the spring. Dungannon could not be a friendlier place - plenty of events on annually and it was rocking on Saturday night thanks to Sylvia and Ivan’s hard work which paid off in bucketloads.Reviewer Rating

Interesting and challenging
Dungannon Golf Club is in great condition. I thought it was an interesting course, with water featuring on a number of holes, a few dog legs and of course lots of trees. I really enjoyed the par 3 9th hole - narrowly avoiding the pond in front of the green. Every hole is different and I think beginners would find this course manageable, however it's also challenging to all golfers, from high handicappers right down to scratch golfers. The clubhouse is modern with a welcoming bar and the restaurant has recently won a number of awards. I received a friendly welcome.Reviewer Rating
