Interesting and challenging

This is an interesting course maintained in excellent condition. There is a wide range of holes, with tricky par 3s, dog leg par 4s and long par 5s. The signature hole is the par 3 Darren Clarke 9th, designed by the Open Champion 2011. This course presents a challenge to everyone, from the beginner through to the scratch golfer.

Fantastic Venue

A really wonderful golf course/ club house.Heard the Get into Golf tuition with David the pro is really good. David is a really nice guy. Might decide to give it a go in the spring. Dungannon could not be a friendlier place - plenty of events on annually and it was rocking on Saturday night thanks to Sylvia and Ivan’s hard work which paid off in bucketloads.

Interesting and challenging

Dungannon Golf Club is in great condition. I thought it was an interesting course, with water featuring on a number of holes, a few dog legs and of course lots of trees. I really enjoyed the par 3 9th hole - narrowly avoiding the pond in front of the green. Every hole is different and I think beginners would find this course manageable, however it's also challenging to all golfers, from high handicappers right down to scratch golfers. The clubhouse is modern with a welcoming bar and the restaurant has recently won a number of awards. I received a friendly welcome.

Greens in good condition for the time of year. A wide variety of holes requires accurate approach shots. One of the best parkland courses in Ireland. The Claret Jug Restaurant has lovely views over the course and features local produce. Everyone very friendly.

Disappointed with the course overall.
Tee boxes generally poor and greens showing disease with scorched areas on many.
Granted the drought has played a part though my own home course in Cheshire has been subject to the same weather and remains in excellent condition throughout.

Greens are fantastic for this time of year, would love to see them in summer. Fairly forgiving front 9 if you are a bit wayward of the tee on the par 4's and 5''s. Highly enjoyable and suitable challenge for golfers of all abilities. Also had a great meal in the clubhouse - lovely staff and food was superb. Pints were also some of the best we have tried in any clubhouse. Will definitely be back in summer.

Had phoned ahead ref green fees and was told information totally different to when we turmed up so much more expensive than was first told. Also hadnt been told that greens would be heavily sanded so putting was a lottery. Fairways in superb condition but being mislead over green fees over phone left a bad taste which kind of ruined the round before it began-very poor customer sevice
