What The Club Says
Dumbarton Golf Club, one of the oldest in the West of Scotland, owes its existence largely to the fact that in 1887 a few of the towns illustrious shipbuilding sons holidayed at St Andrews. It is a formidable golf course, designed to test the straightest of drivers making this par 70 course a rare challenge.

As A Visitor
Very enjoyable hidden gem, very few hilly parts, a good test of golf, long and short play, have come back a few times now and it's as interesting as it was on my first visit a few years ago, very reasonably priced and staff were very welcoming and the food was too our liking each time, definitely recommend this course, for a relaxing game of golf or a works outing, playing over 2 rounds, when fit enough, I shall return.William B
