What The Club Says
Bewdley Pines is par 69 course which welcomes visitors to try their skills and enjoy its beautiful settings.
The course is based on sandy soil, so even on the wettest of days the course drains within a very short time, and very rarely are days lost due to the weather, also there has never been a trolley ban on the course just showing how good the drainage is.

Very Very poor and unhelpful
Signed up for the golf mixed open at Bewdley Pines on 1st June 2025.We booked a buggy because my partner and I have severe back problems and unable to play without one.
We were told over the phone that it would be £18, so I booked one.
When I got to the course and went to get my buggy I was told it would be £30 not £18, the pro shop were disinterested and unhelpful (it was there mistake over the phone).
I said that I was going to withdraw from the competition and went to speak to one of the organisers.
When I stated the problem and said I was going to withdraw even though we had travelled approx 1.5 hours to get there and it was the club's fault.
Rather than them trying to be helpful as it was the club's fault, I was told that I would not get my entry fee back (£30 that I had paid in advance) because it was the day of the competition.
Therefore we were held to ransom by the club. So rather than losing my entry fee and letting down my playing partners, I had to pay the £30 for the buggy.
An extremely bad experience
A very poor show on behalf of the pro shop and the organisers who were totally disinterested. Last time we play there

Its rained for weeks and its dry!
Me and my partner (best mate) went to a couple of courses during the winter and like most winter golf had to play on temp greens and walk through rivers to play. We hared that Bewdley was a dry winter course and we set out to play yesterday. We were very imporessed and ranked it near to the top of the courses that we have played over the last 3 years. The holes are varied and make you think and the course its in immaculate condition given the 3 months of rain we have had. We went off at 11.30 and there were a few old boys infront. It slowed the game down quite a bit, but the views on some of the holes made it worth slowing down.Really looking forward to playing again in the summer.

Great Winter Course
Played on 15/12/23, club house was very welcoming and the full breakfast was good. The course surprised me in how dry it was, and we played off the grass tee boxes.
The fairways were in good condition, the layout interesting with the 4th in particular requiring you to plan your strategy.
I thought the greens were in excellent condition, they were happy to accept a ball from height, yet were true and fast.
A great day out in mid December, I will definitely be back.
