What the club says: A testing 18 hole parkland course that demands accurate shots to tree lined fairways and difficult to hit greens. The course was first laid out in 1926. With many feature pine and oak trees, narrow fairways and small greens it provides a good test for golfers of all abilities. Visitors frequently compliment us on the quality of the course and invariably enjoy their visit.

Challenging but fair for all abilities

The course was pretty good condition considering we've had very little rain in the last month or two. Greens had clearly been well watered with no patches.

Course well set up, very good condition; even, quickish greens; cut grass left on the fairways a disappointment. Some tee boxes had the info regarding length, stroke index etc., at such a position that it could not be read when approaching, or even on the tee eg. the 10th. No facilities on the course eg. a half-way house, also a disappointment. Every par 3 is a tough hole. Overall, a very good course around which one must plot each shot.

Ashford golf club

A little disappointed with this place, booked a twilight round and was told to come up about 4 and they would get us out. We arrived about twenty minutes early and were started on the 10th on a pretty empty course and charged an extra £5 for going out before 4. The course was good, in good condition and enjoyable to play.

A well situated course just off junction 9 of M20. Everyone was very welcoming and professional from the Pro Shop to the Bar. The course was in good condition - narrow tree lined fairways. The greens were a bit woolly but it is still early in the season but it meant we could hit shots at the flag. Overall, a well presented course with good service, especially in the Pro Shop.

The course is in great condition all round, some of the bunkers and water hazards have been refurbished over the winter and the greens in particular are looking great. Very highly recommended.

Very nice woodland course, with some challenging holes, the par 3s are all very different and difficult visually but actually play quite easily

Played Ashford as I was in the area for the weekend. On the whole it was in pretty good condition with some challenging holes. The only real disappointment was that they were a few temporary greens, which weren't really up to scratch. I feel something like this should be mentioned before you head out. The front 9 is quite tight, with many of the greens and tee boxes backing onto each other. Things do improve down the back 9 though. Overall a decent challnege

Played an afternoon round for £25. The course is really well laid out and clearly looked after. The greens run true with minimal bumps. You have to think your way round and bad shots are usually punished.
Had a couple in the bar after and the staff and members are extremely welcoming.

Definitely going to play again and would recommend

Nice layout with some tricky approaches to greens....if out of position off the tee....Talking of the greens a bit disappointed this time around - Quite uneven almost bare in some patches.
