Famous clubhouse of Stoke Park is turned green for St. Patrick's Day
The iconic clubhouse of Stoke Park Country Club, Spa & Hotel, famed as the location for the famous golf match between James Bond and the villainous Goldfinger in the classic 1964 film, has been bathed in green this year to celebrate St Patrick's Day.
Stuart Collier, director of golf at Stoke Park Country Club, Spa & Hotel, said: “We were delighted to be asked to take part in Tourism Ireland’s ‘Global Greening’ campaign and to join so many iconic landmarks in participating. It certainly caused quite a stir among our 800-plus members. “
