PING Collection Design Tailored Solheim Cup Range to be Worn by Official Marshals

The Solheim Cup heads to Killeen Castle, Ireland, this September and to commemorate its homecoming, PING Collection has designed a bespoke range to be worn throughout the match by the official marshals.

Headlining the range is the Tornado waterproof jacket, featuring advanced aesthetics and high-performance driven properties. The garment has been designed in a classic grass green/contrast black colour story with detailed piped edging and advanced performance features including a textured two-layer laminated fabric structure for ultimate weather protection. The material also features an enhanced breathability rating for maximum body temperature maintenance and therefore comfort.

This waterproof and wind resistant outer-layer has fully taped seams, ensuring complete protection. It is also extremely lightweight and low-noise, promoting a protected feeling without the inflexibility of other waterproof jackets on the market.

Further design features include drawstring hem adjusters, Velcro fastenings on the tab cuff and side pockets with zip for supplementary water protection and safety.

The Solheim Cup Tornado jacket also incorporates a unique, soft-brushed fleece lining for maximum warmth. The garment also features bespoke PING embroidery to chest, sleeve and back of neck.

The biennial event takes place on 23 – 25 September 2011 at Killeen Castle, Dunsany, Co. Meath, Ireland.
