Having previously tested and reviewed PAYNTR GOLF's X 002 LE, X 004 RS, and X-005 F, Golfshake Ambassador Mel Davies has become a connoisseur of the brand's golf shoes and now turns his attention to the X 006 RS.

Looks

I’ve been lucky enough to review three previous versions of PAYNTR golf shoes and these are right up there in looks with anything they’ve previously released and also any other shoe on the market. Very modern looking but also stylish to suit all golfers. Nothing “in your face” - these are just a very good looking, well presented golf shoe. 

I personally love the look of the undersole with the PAYNTR logo and the really cool looking “New Softspike’s Tour Flex Pro Spikes."

Feel

The way a shoe feels when I’m playing golf is of the upmost importance. The shoe is the one constant through the round and being comfortable walking the course and playing the shots is a big thing for me. These latest shoes really do tick the boxes, very comfortable, fit nice, no issues from the off and the big thing is they perform when playing the shots no matter what type of lie and whatever the condition. I honestly believe these are up there and better than any other shoe I’ve tried before.

Performance

Again the one thing you want from a golf shoe is to feel totally confident over every shot that you will face with good traction and being able to perform no matter what the situation and stance is. These certainly don’t let you down in that department.

I’ve used these for the last six or so weeks in all conditions, all lies and stances and not once have I felt uncertain about being able to play the golf shot and not keeping a good and stable footing.

Pros

Look fantastic. Comfortable, lightweight and most importantly perform superbly.

The other thing that really impresses me is how easy they are to keep clean and how good they look even with just blowing the residue off, especially around the spikes.

Cons

None.

The Bottom Line

Once more PAYNTR golf have produced shoes that will compete with all the major golf brands and at a price that is very good and competitive.
