Srixon Release Z-Star Yellow

By: Darren Ramowski | Fri 12 Mar 2010

Srixon Z-Star YellowSrixon Sports, a world leader in golf ball and golf club technology, have announced the latest addition to their highly successful range of balls -  the new Z-STAR Tour Yellow

The New Z-STAR Tour Yellow is being used by Srixon Staff Player Tim Clark and being tested by many other Contract professionals. It provides all the current high performance benefits offered by the current  Z-STAR + it’s much easier to see!

Studies show that Yellow is the most visible colour in the visual spectrum and in all tests undertaken at every distance, the Tour Yellow was easier to see than a standard white ball.

It is the same principle that saw the change from white to yellow tennis balls in the 1990’s and anybody watching Tim Clark in the WGC Match play recently, will have noticed how much easier the ball was to see

At 275 yards, the Tour Yellow is spotted over 60% of the time compared to 21% with the white ball.

In addition, psychological studies have shown that Yellow / Green colours have a calming stress relieving effect on people and the company has combined the two colours based on these findings to tap into the player’s mind and expand the benefits of playing a better ball.

The NEW Z-STAR TOUR YELLOW  balls will be available from all leading Golf Professionals and Retail Outlets from mid May 2010 onwards
