To mark this week's Scottish Open from Ayrshire's Dundonald Links, we asked you on Twitter and Facebook to send us your best photos taken when playing golf in Scotland. The response surpassed all expectations, with dozens of you taking the opportunity to share images from across the spectacular nation, from the Highlands to St. Andrews and East Lothian, the likes of Muirfield and Carnoustie to the Isle of Arran and Perthshire.
Bringing some of them together now in one place, we hope this will help to inspire you to make the trip to Scotland, or to discover places that you may not have experienced. Your submissions helped to make this effort an engaging method to celebrate the sheer quality and depth of courses to be found across the Home of Golf.
