U.S. Presidents Who Played Golf

The 2016 U.S. Presidential Election is upon us, with Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton seeking to become the first woman to be elected to the White House, facing Republican candidate Donald Trump. It has been a bitter, deeply divided process, one that has had many Americans looking back fondly at President's of the past. Some of them even played golf.
Yes, from Eisenhower to Kennedy and Obama, the most powerful individual in the world has often sought the sanctuary of the golf course to escape the pressures of governance. With his love for the game well known, Trump, the controversial businessman, if triumphant on Tuesday, would add to that history of golfers in the Oval Office.
