Crown Golf Launch New Tee Booking App

Crown Golf’s new mobile booking app, launched this week, enables members and visitors to book tee times instantly at 22 of the group’s golf facilities providing live availability for each club’s tee sheet.

As well as finding the nearest Crown Golf venue and the location of other venues the new tee booking app integrates with the users smart phone calendar providing a full diary overview as well as both current & historic bookings. The app also enables a golfer to store details of the friends with whom they most commonly play golf for easier future bookings.

The app is available at 22 of the 25 venues with the exception of St Mellion International Resort, Batchworth Park and Nine of Herts.

“This app is already saving time both for our Members and for our regular visitors” said Operations Director Guy Riggott. “Golfers usually have their smartphone near to hand these days, so we are encouraging all of our customers to download the Crown Golf app and to make it part of their lives.

“Our clubs have tens of thousands of regular visitors throughout the year, and we will be emailing them promotional codes which they can redeem via the app for reduced rates when the club has a special offer such as a bundle deal or a time-specific discount.

“But it is not just for visitors: Crown Golf members booking a tee time via the app are automatically recognised, enabling our members to get on with their lives knowing that their next game of golf at the club is securely booked”.

A version is being planned for Android phones, to be launched later in 2014.
