Gtour Stella Trohpy Carden Park Results

De Vere Carden Park saw the 7th event in the GTour 2009 calendar and the first Gtour Stella Trophy competition. Over 40 UK golfers were treated to sunny weather (can we make it 8/8?) great company and the beautiful Jack Nicklaus course.

Tee's towards the front of the tee box and generous flag postions ensured that many competitors scored well on the day leaving all competitors guessing until the last group came in as to who would be taking Stella home for the year. We'll we are pleased to announce that in his 4th event of this years tour Mr David Gandy came home in first place and moved from 24th to 7th on the overall tour leaderboard . Well done David you deserved it and you cut a fine figure in that BM cap, we expect to see the full emsemble at the Final on November the 7th.

2nd place went to newcomer Aidan Brown who only just took the glory away from David Casey in 3rd on Count back and won the De Vere 4 ball whilst David won the Bunker Mentality T Shirt and jumped from 9th to 3rd on the Order of Merit .

Longest Drive on the day went to Bunker Mentality's Ambassador David Corke whilst Mrs Lesley Gandy celebrated joining the Gtour Order of Merit by taking the nearest pin away from all the men taking part.
