James Whitaker

James Whitaker is a UK PGA member, who graduated from the University of Birmingham. James is a well respected coach who has work with all levels of golfers. He is a Nike Golf Ambassador with a great reputation for custom fitting, having fit over 50 tour pros and leading amateurs.

James has coached and run 2 PGA Golf Academies in the UK, he first spent time at the world renowned Belfry working with some of the leading coaches in England and spending time with some of the greatest teaches in the world. From here he moved on to set up the PGA Academy at Oulton Hall also starting the first Nike Golf Academy in Europe.

Since then James has set up The JWhitaker Golf Academy in West Yorkshire, at the prestigious venues Moor Allerton Golf Club and Howley Hall Golf Club. Here he has an innovative team of PGA Golf Professionals and Golf Specialists working with all levels of golfers in every aspect of the game.

James has written for Todays Golfer and National Club Golfer and is looking forward to sharing his knowledge with the Golfshake.com readers.
