Best score and handicap goes up? Why?

Posted by: user130832 | Fri 10th Feb 2012 12:30 | Last Reply

I have just posted the best score of my Golfshake career and my handicap has gone up by 0.1.

I got a 90 today, my best ever score and it went up from 26.4 to 26.5, now a 27.

Handicaps are calculated on the Standard Scratch Score (SSS) of the course and not what the par is.  There doesn't seem to be an SSS on the system for the course you played so this might have something to do with it.

This is my local course in Saudi and my handicap has been assessed by these scores for a long time now. so does this mean that every time I post a score my handicap will go up?

Not sure about that.  Hopefully Darren will be along soon and might be able to help you with it.
